Coming up on Days in June:Friday 1 JuneAt the hospital, Mimi is still in the nursery rocking a baby. The nurse tells her that she is so natural with babies and she’ll make a wonderful mother someday. Mimi tells herself “sooner than you think.” The nurse tells Mimi that she’s sorry about blurting out that she was pregnant earlier, especially in front of her guy.
Nicole takes Jan into the other room and asks her if she has a death wish or something? Jan says she can’t sit here and talk right now because she needs to be there for her man. Nicole tells herself to have herself fitted for a straight jacket while she’s here because she will be sent off to a place with soft padded walls for a long time.
Monday 4 JuneAt the hospital, Lexie tells Shawn that Belle and Jan are both here to see her, which one does he want to see? Belle says she has been so worried about him, but now he is home and he’ll be okay. She takes his hand, and he has a memory of her being with Phillip.
Rex finds Kate looking at the babies in the nursery. Rex asks if she is okay? Kate says she never got to hold him and Cassie as a baby, and now Cassie and Billie are both gone. She says she’s lost both of her daughters and it is all her fault. Rex says Billie died on assignment, it wasn’t her fault.
Tuesday 5 JuneAt Sami’s place, Sami and Lucas are working on their wedding plans, and Sami does something to upset Lucas . Lucas tells Sami that it isn’t fair to Will or to them that they keep putting off their wedding.
At the hospital, Mimi talks with Lexie in her office. Lexie asks if she is sure this is what she really wants to do? Mimi remembers overhearing Rex telling Kate that the time wasn’t right for him and Mimi to have children. Mimi tells Lexie now isn’t the right time and she has no choice.
Wednesday 6 JuneMimi wakes up, and Rex is still asleep. Mimi heads to her purse and takes out her cell phone. She calls the women’s clinic and makes an appointment to terminate her pregnancy. Mimi tells the person on the other end that she’s already met with a counselor, Peggy Johnson from University Hospital. She then says yes this is what she wants.
On the island, John, Abe and Roman are searching for Hope. They have looked everywhere and are forced to go to the DiMera mansion to talk to Tony. At the DiMera mansion, Tony talks with Bart and says Hope should not have gone back into the jungle. Tony says now not only is Bo in danger, but Hope is too, and the minute his men find them they are both dead. Tony says it is a pity their uninvited guests dropped in because things were going so well.
Thursday 7 JuneIn the jungle, John and the others are at the force field. John orders Tony to use his amulet to open up the force field. Tony says only if he asks nicely because he is their only chance of getting back into the jungle. Roman asks Tony nicely, and Tony says he knows exactly what they are going to do. Roman yells at Tony to just do it. Tony tries and he says it’s not working.
Back in Salem, at the hospital, Jan and Lexie help Shawn with his recovery. They help Shawn out of bed and to take his first steps. Shawn manages to walk on his own, and Jan tells him that he’s doing so great. Lexie says he has exceeded all their expectations. Shawn says what were those, that he’d never walk again? He wants them to stop patronizing him and tell him when he’s getting out of this hell hole! LExie says he can’t leave yet.
Friday 8 JuneAt the Rex’s loft, Rex asks Mimi what is going on here, what is the big secret she and Belle have? Mimi says she and Belle were discussing her surprise for him, and now it is ruined. He asks what surprise? She says the surprise that has to do with their anniversary today, the anniversary of their first real kiss.
Brady shows up at the hospital and asks Lexie for the details on the plane crash his dad and Bo were in. Lexie says Tek knows more, and all she knows is that they were trying to find Hope, Roman, Abe, Marlena and the others. Brady asks what she is talking about? Lexie says she wasn’t supposed to tell anyone, but it doesn’t matter now.
Monday 11 JuneRex thinks he knows where Mimi has gone, and he decides to rush out after her. As he goes to leave, Kate shows up. Kate was on her way to the office and decided to stop by and see how his dinner with Mimi went. He says it was great, and he thanks her for her help. Kate asks if something is bothering him? He says Mimi is keeping a secret and he knows what it is.
Nicole shows up at the police station and she tries to find out if Jan has been arrested recently. She asks if a young woman has been brought in on kidnapping charges. The policeman says no, and asks if she needs to file a report. Nicole says no, she just heard a rumor. Nicole recalls telling Jan to get out of Salem, but she refused as she was planning to kill Belle.
Tuesday 12 JuneAt the hospital, Belle cries to Phillip that Shawn has lost both of his parents and pushed her away. Phillip says he had no right to blame her, this is not her fault. Belle can’t believe this is happening, how can her dad be gone, how can Bo and Billie be gone. She says every time she thinks it can’t possibly get worse it does. Phillip says he’s right here and isn’t going anywhere. Belle says perhaps this has to do with his head injury.
Rex and Phillip got to Belle’s loft, and Rex says he’s sorry about Billie. Rex says he wishes he could have gotten to know her. Rex asks how Shawn is, and Phillip tells him that Shawn just found about his parents and blamed Belle. Phillip says he hopes she is over Shawn now, and he will never let anything come between him and Belle again. Rex says he feels the same way about Mimi. Phillip suggests they call a truce, and Rex agrees.
Wednesday 13 JuneLucas is still at Basic Black, Will is staying with Grandpa Shawn. Sami shows up and plants a huge kiss on Lucas’ lips. She says she just ran her idea on financing their wedding by the Basic Black attorney, Mr. Vern, and he thought it was a great idea. Sami says they will have a huge, fabulous wedding that people will be talking about for years to come.
In the jungle, Hope and Patrick catch Bo and Billie kissing. Hope asks if he is doing a little mouth to mouth resuscitation? She asks if this is why he wanted her to stay behind while he looked for Billie? He says he can explain, but she tells him to forget it. She says he can stay in this jungle and play Tarzan all he wants. Hope storms off, and Bo follows.
Thursday 14 JuneShawn is at the hospital looking at a photo of Belle. He says it is because of her that half of his family is dead. He wonders why she had to lie to him. Jan walks in and tells him to forget about Belle, she just makes him upset. Shawn throws the photo away and says he never wants to hear the name Belle Black again. He says from now on it is just the two of them.
Brady and Tek arrive on the island and are heading through the jungle. Brady says there is nothing here but rainforests. Tek says looks can be deceiving, there is no telling who or what is in this jungle. We then see a shot of Nicole walking through the jungle searching for Tek and Brady.
Friday 15 JuneAt the hospital, Lexie tells Celeste that Tek and Brady went off to search for Bo and the others. She says she already lost one man she loves, she can’t lose another. Celeste asks if she is saying she loves Tek? Has he taken Abe’s place in her heart? Lexie says if she did care for another man than she wouldn’t be being unfaithful, Abe is dead.
Shawn begins cleaning things out in his room. He finds a purple bear which he won for Belle, but she asked him to keep it. She says it would remind him of their love. Shawn then thinks about Belle with Phillip, and he becomes upset. Jan tells Shawn to throw out everything that reminds him of Belle so he can move on. Mimi shows up and says maybe he doesn’t want to move on!
Monday 18 JuneAt the loft, Shawn tells Belle that she is not only a liar but a slut too! Belle thinks this is the accident that is causing him to act this way, but Shawn says the accident just knocked some sense into him. He says she slept with Phillip. She says that is not true, but Shawn says he saw it with his own eyes again and again.
In the compound, Bart and Tony watch the men as well as his mystery guest. Tony says the holding cells are becoming very crowded, so he hopes they won’t be having anymore uninvited guests. Bart says the ladies are comfy in their cell, and he wonders what Bo has that he doesn’t.
Tuesday 19 JuneLucas and Will are tasting wedding cake at Basic Black. Lucas gets it on Sami’s face and licks it off with kisses, so Sami does the same to Lucas. Sami says it’s all so good, and Lucas says it will be tough to decide. Sami says that is what happens when you deal with the top chefs in the world. Sami says this is her dream wedding, not only don’t they have to pay for it, but they get to pick everything out themselves.
At Rex’s loft, Mimi has a dream that Rex shows up with a gift for Mimi. He says he knows she is pregnant, he snooped and looked at her medical files at the hospital because he was worried about her. He asks why she didn’t tell him? Mimi says nothing, and Rex asks her to please tell him that she didn’t kill their baby! Rex is furious with her for aborting their baby, and he says she lied to him.
Wednesday 20 JuneAt the loft, Shawn and Belle continue to argue. Shawn says she has no idea how he feels, what happened to her mother was her own fault, and what happened to his family was her mother’s fault and she helped her to kill them! He says on top of losing his family he lost her too.
Shawn goes back to his loft, and he wonders why there are so many things he can’t remember. Jan says Lexie said he may never remember them. Shawn says he remembers so many things so clearly. He remembers all the times Phillip and Belle were together, but he doesn’t understand why he didn’t confront them.
Thursday 21 JuneAt Alice’s, Lucas and Sami finish their “prom” dance. (Tina and Cherine wrote in about the song, it’s "Now That I Found You" by Terri Clark) Sami says this is better than any prom in the whole world, and she can’t wait to marry him. She says it will be like a fairytale, a storybook ending. She asks if he is happy they are having a big wedding? He says he is happy that she is happy, and he’s happy that she and his mom are working together on this.
On the island, the residents of New Salem are at the pub. Abe tells Tek that they have to get their friends ready to move out in a moments notice. Abe thinks about what is worse, them being a prisoner here or their loved ones thinking they are dead. Tek says they won’t be here for much longer, once John and Roman find the others they will get off this island.
Friday 22 JuneAt Alice’s, Bonnie looks around and is preparing the place for a benefit for Salem’s homeless shelter. She says if all goes as plan, before this day is over her new house will be the big Horton House on the hill. Mickey walks in, and she says she will be Mrs. Mickey Horton, not the hired help.
Shawn goes over to see Julie, and tells her that she is a very lovely lass. She thanks him, and he says he knows she misses Doug, and he misses Caroline, but they have to move on with their lives. Shawn says look at Mickey, but she says she’d rather not. Shawn says he always found her so attractive and wanted to know if she’d consider going on a date with him? Julie downs her drink.
Monday 25 JuneAt Alice’s, Mimi and Rex watch as Belle and Shawn dance, and Rex says he staged a little trip down memory lane by playing their song for them. Mimi worries Jan may think she is helping, so she tells Rex that she can’t let him do this. He is stunned, and she says they should just stay out of it.
At her place, Kate looks at a photo of Roman and says she knows she promised Roman to look after Sami, but Sami is going to ruin Lucas’ life if she doesn’t do something. She says he was the only one who could keep Sami in line, but he’s not here anymore.
Tuesday 26 JuneAt Alice’s, Mimi cuts the music, and everyone tells her to turn it back on. Rex asks Mimi what she is doing? She says it is for the best. Meanwhile, Phillip sees Belle and Shawn arguing, and he goes to stop them. Shawn tells Phillip that he can have her, but Belle says she isn’t his to give away.
Meanwhile, Shawn and Jan get back to Shawn and Rex’s loft, and they are all over one another. They end up in Shawn’s bed, and Jan puts on a sexy black negligee. She tells Shawn that he’s been a very bad boy and now he will be punished.
Wednesday 27 JuneAt the loft, Belle and Phillip are kissing. Belle pulls away and says she didn’t mean to come on so strong. Phillip says as long as this is what she wants because he doesn’t want to hurt her. She says he’d never hurt her. Phillip kisses Belle, and it looks like she has some doubts...In the air ducts, Nicole is stunned that Victor is alive. John says she doesn’t look happy. Nicole says she is thrilled. He says yeah right, she may have beaten a murder wrap, but Victor will start talking soon about what really happened to him. Nicole says she was with Brady all night, and she is the one who got Victor breathing again by performing mouth to mouth.
Thursday 28 JunePhillip and Belle are in bed making out big time. They stop and breath heavily for a bit before going back to sucking one another's tonsils out! Belle eventually pulls away and tells Phillip that she wants to stop. Phillip asks if he was hurting her, and she says no. Phillip thinks she has changed her mind. He says he asked her so many times if she was ready.
On the island, Bart tells Tony that their prisoners are gone! Tony says it’s just another feeble attempt to escape, and that they won’t make it out of the compound before the volcano erupts. Bart can’t believe Tony doesn’t care! Bart then smells cigar smoke and realizes it is coming from the study. Bart asks who is in there? Tony tells him to take a guess.
Friday 29 JuneJan goes out to the fire escape after she finds Shawn gone, and she sees Belle isn’t in bed with Phillip either. Jan sneaks into Phillip and Belle’s place, and she looks at a sleeping Phillip. She says he is a fine piece of work, not that she wants him, but she needs him to keep Belle preoccupied. Phillip grabs Jan and kisses her, and then realizes it is Jan.
Kate waits for Brandon to call her with the news that he’s coming back to Salem. Kate says if Brandon does say yes and agrees to come back to Salem then he has to convince him to stay awhile, long enough to torpedo Sami and Lucas. Eugenia returns after running an errand for take-out, and Brandon finally calls Kate back. She hopes he has agreed to come back to Salem to make a pitch to her board of directors.
