Season 2

Mzali Wami is a South African television drama series which revolves around Ntokozo, a girl who gets entangled in an elaborate human trafficking ring involving her biological mother.

The series follows the inner workings of a human trafficking syndicate, through the life of young Ntokozo, played by Lungelo Mpangase.

In Season 2, Ntokozo and Joyce return home to start their new lives as mother and daughter.

While they do receive a warm welcome, does this signal happily ever after?

The Season 2 cast includes Lungelo Mpangase, who reprises her role as Ntokozo, Lusanda Mbane as Joyce (replacing Masasa Mbangeni from the first season), Nolwazi Shange as Sibongile and Loyiso MacDonald as Lungelo.

Dumisani Mbebe reprises his role as the villainous and aptly named Terror, and Oros Mampofu also returns as Musa.

Set in Johannesburg, Mzali Wami was created by Dineo Ranaka and Siphosethu Tshapu.

A 1Magic Production, the series is produced by Brains At Work Media as an M-Net Original. Dineo Ranaka is the executive producer and the series producer is Lufuno Nemungadi.

The head writer is Siphosethu Tshapu and the directors are Pheello PJ Makosholo and Phiwe Mkhanzi.

The title track and series music is by Slam Music Library.
