Vallei van Sluiers is the story of a few well-known Boland fruit farmer families - the De Bruyns, the Roberts and the Van Rhijns - and the people who are drawn into their disasters, quarrels and scandals.
The previous season ended with Hannah and De Wet about to leave the Ceres Valley and settle in Botswana. For Hannah it's an emotional goodbye after the death of her son Connie in a car accident.
Her ex-husband, Hugo, is very upset that she holds him responsible for Connie's death.
The saga of the inhabitants of the Valley continues for a final season and numerous veils will be lifted on the things that have dominated and soured the lives of many over the years.
And, of course, many other veils will be lifted - sometimes for the better, often for worse.
In the first episode of the fourth season: Hannah and De Wet are about to leave the Ceres Valley to settle in Botswana. This is an emotional goodbye, especially for Hannah.
The question is: what has Hugo got up his sleeve?
Vallei van Sluiers is a kykNET Production produced by Baobab TV Produksies (first two seasons) and Quantum Productions (last two seasons) for kykNET. The series was written by Johan van Jaarsveld and Louis Pretorius and directed by Elizabeth Archer.
