Season 2

Season 2 features a completely new cast and storyline from the first season, although the premise is similar: It is set in a small town, there is a disappearance, a riddle that must be solved and the past has a huge impact on the present.

Adam wakes up after being in a coma for 18 months caused by an accident on the evening of his matric farewell.

His partner died in the accident, but he can't remember anything. His memories end the day before his tenth birthday.

Adam's awakening garners a lot of attention, but not everybody is happy about it. A woman is prowling around the hospital and the doctor is not at ease about it.

When Adam later remembers a traumatic experience, he decides to try and find out what happened the night of the accident.

Does it have anything to do with the girls that were suspected of witchcraft?

Season 2 stars Andahr Cotton as Adam Prinsloo, Lee Visagie as Christa and Gérard Rudolf as Frans Prinsloo, Adam's father.

Others in the cast include Philip Moolman, Elma Postma, Vuyelwa Mpela, Hanli Rolfes and Bertha le Roux-Wahl.

Also in the cast is Carla-Marie Myburgh as Wanda, Nastassja Pretorius as Yvette and Huey Louw as Hannes.

Spoorloos is an M-Net Original Production and is produced by kykNET and Ochre Moving Pictures. The head writer and director is Ilse van Hemert; who is also producer with Stan Joseph. The screenplay is by Van Hemert and Beyers de Vos.

Original music is by Brendan Jury.
