Gérard Rudolf is a South African writer, poet, actor and photographer who has had leading and supporting roles in numerous television series including Arende II and III, Glaskasteel, Woestynblom, The Game, Sinbad, Transito and Donkerland.

He has also had leading and supporting roles in such films as Paljas, The Young Black Stallion (Disney), The Piano Player (USA), Styx (USA), Husk (Channel 4, M-Net) and Adrenaline (Netherlands).

Born in Pretoria, he studied Drama at the University of Pretoria, graduating in 1989.
