Meet the Seavers.
There's Jason Seaver, psychiatrist and dad; Maggie Seaver,journalist and mom; and their (almost always) adorable kids, Mike, Carol, Ben and Chrissy.
Growing Pains is an endearing series which revolves around the Seavers and their everyday family encounters. It spans over a great many years and we literally see the Seaver children growing up in front us.
Mike growing from a mishchievous schoolboy to a teacher/actor. Carol growing from frumpy genius into a beautiful genius.
Whatever their trials and tribulations, you can always count on the Seavers to deliver good family moral values.
Watch out for a young Leonardo DiCaprio as Luke Brower, a homeless teenager that the Seavers take in, in the final season.
