Season 2
Just when you thought you uncovered all of Wisteria Lane's dirty laundry, along comes Season 2. And it is sizzling with more gossip, drama and raunchy secrets.
Susan, Lynette, Bree and Gabrielle are back, along with saucy new neighbours and freshly-baked storylines.
This season the central mystery is that of new neighbour Betty Applewhite, who moved in in the middle of the night with her sons Matthew and Caleb and her very own secrets.
Bree tries to cope with being a widow and begins dating a man who unbeknownst to her had a connection to her ex-husband, Rex. She also struggles to prevent the gap between her and her son to keep growing to extremes.
Susan’s love life gets even more complicated as her ex-husband gets engaged to one of the housewives, Lynette goes back to her career in advertising and Gabrielle decides to be faithful to her husband, and begins preparations to have a child.
With the exceptions of Rex Van de Kamp and John Rowland, the first season's main characters remain for a second year.
New characters include Betty, Matthew and Caleb Applewhite, and several previously recurring roles have been promoted to the main cast: Tom Scavo, Karl Mayer, Andrew and Danielle Van de Kamp, George Williams, and Preston, Porter and Parker Scavo.
