The Respect Show with HHP is a South African talk show produced by Red Cherry Productions and hosted by hip-hop legend Hip Hop Pantsula (HHP) which aims to pay "respect" and homage to the people whose contribution in their respective fields have shaped South Africa's landscape.
The series premiered on SABC1 on Wednesday 17 March 2010, at 18h30. New episodes air weekly. There are 13 half-hour episodes in the series.
Respect recognises achievement and knows no bounds. It is a show that let's the public know of people that deserve and require acknowledgment to continue their struggle.
The face of the show is the indefatigable HHP. The boy from "Maftown" who has carved his way into the pantheons of South Africa's hip hop and musical history.
