Season 2

Joey is an American sitcom created by Scott Silveri and Shana Goldberg Meehan as a spin-off of the sitcom Friends, which stars Matt LeBlanc reprising his role as the charming and still-single Joey Tribbiani, who has struck out on his own and moved to Hollywood, hoping to truly make it as an actor.

The series aired in the USA on NBC from 9 September, 2004 to 7 March, 2006. There are 46 half-hour episodes in two seasons.

Joey originally aired in South Africa on M-Net from 2 March, 2005 to 14 November, 2006. It later aired on SABC3 and on DStv's Comedy Central channel. See "Seasons" below for seasonal broadcast dates and times.

Season 2 originally aired on M-Net from 20 June to 14 November, 2006, on Tuesdays at 19h00. New episodes broadcast weekly.

Season 2 later aired on SABC3 from 25 August, 2008 to 19 January, 2009, on Mondays at 19h30. New episodes broadcast weekly.

Season 2 premiered on Comedy Central on Friday 8 February 2013, at 18h50. New episodes broadcast daily, on weekdays. There are 22 episodes in the second and final season.

Season 2

After failing to kick start his acting career in New York living with his Friends, Joey Tribbiani moves to LA to hit the big time...

At the end of season one, Joey was faced with a tough decision - whether or not to settled down and give up his womanising ways.

After leaving an "I Love You" hanging in the air from his girlfriend, Sara, he finds himself faced with the prospect of her moving in. But is that what he really wants?

Season two opens with Joey finally getting his big break. But in true Joey fashion, there's nothing usual about it.

There's also the problem of him waking up next to his neighbour Alex...

From Bright-San Productions and Silver and Gold Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television Production Inc., Joey is executive-produced by Kevin S. Bright, Scott Silveri and Shana Goldberg-Meehan.

The show's theme song is Sunny Hours by the reggae band Long Beach Dub Allstars that features Black Eyed Peas member will.i.am.
