Bio
Valerie Azlynn is an American actress best known for her roles as Jessica in the 2006 feature film Broken, and as Piper (the fake Bachelorette) in the second season of the reality spoof The Joe Schmo Show, in 2004.
She currently stars as Melanie Sutton in the television sitcom Sullivan & Son, since 2012.
Azlynn was born and raised in New London, Connecticut. She moved to New York to pursue a career as an actress and built a resume performing in the theatre and singing with a reputable Opera Company in Manhattan.
A few years later, Azlynn moved to Los Angeles to jumpstart her career in film and television. She is known for her lead role on the CBS comedy series Welcome to the Captain, as well as some memorable recurring roles on Castle, Smith and Joey.
Her many guest-starring roles include The Big Bang Theory, Rules of Engagement, CSI: NY, How I Met Your Mother, Two and a Half Men and Hot in Cleveland.
Her feature film credits include Poseidon, Bewitched, Constantine, Tropic Thunder, The Surrogates and Hancock. She received great reviews for her lead role in Julia X and can be seen as one of the leads in the independent film Caroline & Jackie.
