Season 2 kicks off with a guest appearance by Betty White, who plays Professor June Bauer, an esteemed, but slightly unhinged anthropology professor.
This season also features guest appearances by Drew Carey as Jeff Winger's former boss at the law firm, Rob Corddry as Jeff's former colleague, and The Daily Show's John Oliver, reprising his role as Professor Duncan.
This year we learn more about the characters' lives - seeing them in their home environments from time to time.
In addition, the study group gains a new member as the former Spanish professor Señor Chang decides to enroll as a full-time student so that he can join the group.
