Season 1
Detective Amy Harris is an idealistic young detective who is recruited by powerful police chief Detective Superintendent Carol McKay to join The Ghost Squad, an undercover team investigating irregularities in the police force.
Harris's partner is thrill-seeking, edgy Pete Maitland, and together the pair skirt a dangerous edge in which the police have to stop criminals who are police.
Harris clashes with her boss by refusing to tow the line and obey orders, increasing the stress of what is already a highly stressful job.
Harris frequently has to go undercover for lengthy periods of time, where one slip-up can mean a treacherous downfall. Even her successes are not guaranteed, as there is the omnipotent threat of political expediency.

The Ghost Squad was made for Channel Four in the UK by Company Pictures, premiering in the UK on 15 November, 2005.
