Season 1
Tru Calling is an American supernatural drama television series created by Jon Harmon Feldman and starring Eliza Dushku as Tru Davies, a woman who intended to go to medical school after graduating from college, but ends up taking a job at the city morgue.
It is while working at the morgue that dead bodies start asking her for help and Tru re-lives the day, trying to keep a death from happening.
The series aired in the USA on Fox from 30 October, 2003 to 21 April, 2005. There are 26 episodes in two seasons.
The series originally aired in South Africa on M-Net from 4 November, 2004 to 18 August, 2005. It later aired on TopTV's Fox Entertainment channel. See "Seasons" below for seasonal broadcast dates and times.
Tru Calling premiered on Fox Entertainment on Monday 25 October 2010, at 21h45. Thereafter new episodes broadcast weekly at 21h00. There are 20 episodes in the first season.

Season 1
Tru Davies (Eliza Dushku) is smart and sexy. She has just graduated from New York University and is planning on going to medical school. After her internship at a hospital falls through, she finds herself working the midnight shift at the city morgue.
On her first night on the job, she hears the voice of a murdered woman pleading for her help. The next morning she wakes up to face the same day – 12 hours before the woman’s murder will take place.
With time as her enemy Tru is compelled to change this woman’s fate. She tries to prevent the woman from being murdered, while at the same time attempting to rescue members of her own family from their dangerous and self-destructive lives.
Directed by Phillip Noyce (The Hitchhiker), Tru Calling combines the sexiness and speed of Alias with the procedural crime format of CSI.
