Cobie Smulders is a Canadian actress best known for her starring role as Robin Scherbatsky in the television sitcom How I Met Your Mother.
Smulders' television credits include her lead role in Veritas: The Quest (2003), and a four-episode recurring role in the second season of The L Word, as well as appearances in Andromeda, Smallville, Tru Calling, Jeremiah and Special Unit 2.
Smulders' theatre credits include Singing in the Rain, Grease and Women and Wallace. She also appears in the feature films The Long Weekend (2005) and Escape (2006).
Smulders grew up in Vancouver, British Columbia. She currently resides in Los Angeles.
