Larger Than Life is a South African comedy talk show hosted by comedian Jason Goliath with a focus on celebrity interviews in front of a live studio audience, fuelled by sharp-tongued insight into popular and youth culture.
The topical gossip elements of the show are aimed to attract a media-obsessed yet open-minded audience, i.e. the fast-paced, media-hungry, social media generation.
The show aims to get to know South African personalities on an unguarded personal level and is fun and lighthearted in tone. Celebrities are invited to the show to "bare all" in good spirits – with a tongue in cheek approach to scandal and topics that would normally be off limits.
Presenters include Jason Goliath, Glen Biderman-Pam and Nicholas Goliath. The first episode was directed by Charles Watson and music was by Kwame Sibeko.
