Description

Damages is an American legal drama thriller television series created by Todd A. Kessler, Glenn Kessler and Daniel Zelman which revolves around the brilliant yet ruthless lawyer Patty Hewes (Glenn Close), her protégée Ellen Parsons (Rose Byrne) and the law firm Hewes runs in New York City.

Each season features a major case that Hewes and her firm take on while also examining a chapter of the complex relationship between Ellen and Patty.

The first two seasons centre on the law firm Hewes & Associates (located in New York City). Later seasons centre more on Patty and Ellen's relationship as Ellen attempts to distance herself from Hewes & Associates professionally and personally.

Damages was created and executive produced by KZK (Todd A. Kessler, Daniel Zelman and Glenn Kessler) and co-executive produced by Mark A. Baker.
