About the Show

A Shot at Love with Tila Tequila is an American reality television dating game show created by Riley McCormick and starring Internet star Tila Tequila, in which 16 straight males and 16 lesbian female contestants live in Tila's house and compete for her attention and affection.

The series originally premiered in the USA on MTV on 9 October, 2007. The second season premiered in the USA on 22 April, 2008. A third season has been announced; however it will not involve Tila Tequila, but rather another "bachelorette".

A Shot at Love with Tila Tequila premiered in South Africa on DStv's MTV channel on Tuesday 6 May 2008, at 23h00.

Season 2 premiered on MTV on Tuesday 4 November 2008, at 23h59. There are 10 hour-long episodes in the second season.

Although Tila has racked up more than 2 million MySpace friends, she still hasn't found "the one," and she's ready to do anything to find him - or her.

This self-proclaimed "bisexual freak" has had her heart broken by men and women, and she's tired of being alone. Now she's inviting 16 luscious lesbians and 16 sexy straight guys over to her place for A Shot of Love With Tila Tequila.

At first, the guys and girls won't know about each other. But once Tila narrows the field down to a few of her favourites, she's going to tell them all that she's bi.

And when the two sides learn they have to vie for her affection, all hell breaks loose.

There'll be hair pulling, sucker punching, ball-busting and, er, even some butt waxing. Oh, and let's not forget threesomes. There's bound to be at least a few of those. But all is fair in love and war, right?

Even though Madonna has milked it, Angelina Jolie embraced it and TV shows like The O.C. and One Tree Hill have flirted with it, bisexuality is still the stuff of winks and nudges.

But with A Shot at Love, Tila Tequila hopes to thrust the taboo into the spotlight and prove that flaunting your sexuality can be - and should be - fun.

While Tila is dead serious about finding someone to get serious with, she's just not sure if she wants a relationship with a man or a woman. Who will win her heart?

A Shot at Love With Tila Tequila pits men against women in a number of romantic challenges, all in an effort to win Tila's attention and affection.

But just because Tila can't decide which sex suits her best doesn't mean the girl doesn't know what she wants. In fact, she knows exactly what she's looking for in a partner, and she'll keep kicking out potential suitors one by one until she finds Mr. or Ms. Right.

May the best sex win...

From girl fights to boy brawls to mad make-out sessions, all the action follows Tila Tequila. So bust out the limes, tilt your head back and get ready for A Shot at Love.

Season 2 Synopsis

Brokenhearted but still hell-bent on finding her perfect match, Tila Tequila is ready for another Shot at Love. Yup, the bisexual bachelorette is back in action.

During season 1 of A Shot at Love, Tila met a bunch of sexy straight guys and luscious lesbians and had to decide if she wanted to be with a guy or a girl. In the end, she chose Bobby - and things just didn't work out.

But Tila can't just throw in the towel because she had her heart broken, so she's looking for love again.

On A Shot at Love 2, 15 hot new straight guys and 15 sexy new lesbians have been rounded up to vie for Tila Tequila's love and affection. She's got a brand-new house and new rules.

Although her bisexuality isn't a surprise this time around, the question still remains: Will she pick a guy or a girl?

During Season 2, emotions reach an all-time high and the ultimate battle of the sexes gets even more intense. Once again, Tila's booting the ones who aren't right for her - and this time she's really not messing around. She's determined to mend her broken heart and settle down with Mr. or Ms. Right.

Think you saw it all last season? Think again. This new crop of guys and girls are willing to do whatever it takes to win Tila Tequila's heart.

There's sure to be crazy cat fights, serious sucker punches, super-dramatic showdowns and, uh, even a d--- in a box. Oh yeah ... and let's not forget threesomes. There's definitely going to be at least a few of those. All's fair in love and war, right?

Taking things to a whole new level, A Shot at Love 2 pits men against women - separating the studs from the duds and the babes from the bimbos.

But just because Tila still can't decide which sex suits her best doesn't mean she doesn't know what she wants. She actually knows exactly what she's looking for in a mate - now she just needs to find the guy or girl who fits the bill.

May the best sex win...

From bangin' bods to mind-blowing brawls to smokin' hot hookups, Tila Tequila is right smack in the middle of all the action. Screw body shots - it's time for A Shot at Love 2.
