About the Show

Daily Thetha is a South African live educational television talk show that seeks to inspire the youth of Mzansi by engaging them in various issues that affect their lives, through an open studio dialogue, case study discussions, studio debates and expert opinions.

The series is presented by Tumelo Mothotoane and Kini Shandu.

The show is made up of elements that speaks directly to the youth through inspiration, motivation, excitement, relevant content, access to the show and an edge to share their opinions, not to mention sound conversations with their peers.

Daily Thetha serves as an information hub; a platform to hear the unheard voices of the youth of Mzansi; and a place to meet and share ideas, opinions and expertise and to talk about any topical issues affecting their lives.

The show positions itself as "an exciting and vibrant home where the majority of South Africans are allowed to be themselves and to engage on any topic they are faced with."

Daily Thetha is executive produced by Thabo Mphelo of TMF: Thabo Mphelo Films & TV Productions for SABC Education. The series producer is Eddie Maphophe, who is also the director.
