Now & Again revolves around the American government developing perfect human body for use in espionage. However, they were not able to perfect the brain. In an attempt to get the project up and running, they take the brain of overweight family man - Michael Wiseman - who is killed in a subway accident.
Michael is kept in an apartment where he is trained by government experts in espionage and reconnaissance missions. He develops a kind of friendship with one of his trainers, a Dr. Theodore Morris.
Despite his new life, and new abilities, Michael longs to return to his wife Lisa and daughter Heather. But for security reasons, the government forbids such contact... not that Michael is going to let that stop him.
Unfortunately, the show lasted only one season. It was pulled from the air, and one of the reasons cited was the expense of the show could not be justified.
