About the Show

I Just Want My Pants Back is an American comedy-drama television series developed by David J. Rosen and based on his 2007 novel of the same name which follows the lives of a group of twenty-somethings as they try to get through life as best they can in Brooklyn, New York.

The series aired in the USA on MTV from 28 August, 2011 to 5 April, 2012. There are 12 half-hour episodes in one season.

I Just Want My Pants Back premiered in South Africa on DStv's M-Net Series channel on Saturday 2 June 2012, at 22h30. New episodes broadcast in a double bill, weekly.

Synopsis

From acclaimed director and executive producer Doug Liman (Mr. and Mrs. Smith, Swingers, Go, Bourne Identity) and based on David J. Rosen's novel of the same name, I Just Want My Pants Back follows the triumphs and misadventures of a group of friends as they navigate post-college life in Brooklyn.

Struggling with sex, love, career and friendship as a young twenty-something living in Brooklyn, the series follows Jason Strider, played by Peter Vack.

Jason puts hanging with his friends, going to bars and hooking up above his entry level job where he's the lowest rung at a casting agency, and dreams of being in music journalism - but has no idea how to get there.

It's not until a one night stand steals his heart and his pants, that he begins a quest to get his beloved jeans back, and hopefully the girl, while also growing up along the way.
