Chad Michael Murray is an American actor, former male fashion model and teen idol best known for his role as Lucas Scott in the teen drama series One Tree Hill, from 2003-2009.
Murray's previous television roles included playing the love interest to Katie Holmes and Michelle Williams' characters on Dawson's Creek. He also appeared as the overconfident classmate to Alexis Bledel's character on Gilmore Girls.
On the big screen, Murray starred in Irwin Winkler's Home of the Brave opposite Samuel L. Jackson, Jessica Biel and 50 Cent. Murray also starred as the lead in Joel Silver's remake of House Of Wax, opposite Elisha Cuthbert.
Murray starred as Prince Charming in A Cinderella Story, opposite Hilary Duff and co-starred in the critically acclaimed remake of Freaky Friday, opposite Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan.
Murray was born and raised in Buffalo, New York, where he also attended college on scholarship. He currently resides in Los Angeles.
