Suroosh Alvi is a Canadian journalist and producer best known as the co-founder of the international youth media company Vice alongside Shane Smith and Gavin McInnes.
Alvi is considered an expert on global youth culture and music and is a critically acclaimed journalist and executive producer of film.
He has hosted and produced award-winning documentaries investigating controversial issues, movements, and subcultures across the globe, including conflict minerals in Congo, the Iraq war, and the rise of the Taliban of Pakistan.
Alvi is also the executive producer - and a correspondent - on the Vice Media productions The Vice Guide to Travel and the HBO series Vice.
