Bio

Silas Gaither was the 5th person voted out of Survivor: Africa. The first ever Survivor switch sent Silas, Frank and Teresa to a new team. Boran deliberately lost the immunity challenge and voted out Silas 5-1.

Gaither, originally from Germantown, Tennessee, moved to Los Angeles in the early part of the new millennium.

He graduated with a BA in Finance from University of Tennessee, Knoxville in 2000, after which he had a job bartending in West Los Angeles while pursuing a career in acting.

During Gaither's senior year at Houston High School (1996), his soccer team won the State Championship. In addition, he played high school football, wrestled and was voted "Mr. Houston" by his peers.

While attending U of T, he was the boxing champion in his weight class three years straight.

Since Survivor Gaither landed roles in the feature films Anger Management (2003) and The Hillz (2004), and also appeared in the direct-to-video release of the movie Soldiers All in 2005.

He landed guest roles on the television series Hot Properties and XSTV: Xtreme Sport Television, and was credited as a main cast member of a 2006 television show Prescriptions, which was never made.
