Peter Dyneley (13 April, 1921 - 19 August, 1977) was a British actor best known for his performance as the voice of Jeff Tracy in the Gerry Anderson 1960s TV series Thunderbirds and the subsequent movies Thunderbirds Are GO (1966) and Thunderbird 6 (1968).Dyneley also provided the uncredited voice-over countdown in the opening sequence of the TV series.Peter died on 19 August, 1977 after a long fight against cancer. His wife died of a heart attack only 18 months later on 28 February, 1979.
