Dineo comes from Spruitview in the Eastrand. She studied graphic design and is currently the creative director for Blink magazine.
Dineo’s hobbies are learning to play the piano, painting and illustration, cooking and trying out new recipes. She also enjoys learning about alternative healing methods like aromatherapy, crystal healing and energy healing. She is fascinated with astronomy, astrology, the power of the unknown.
Dineo says she entered The Cut because, “I think the creative industry needs to be recognized as a strong contributor to our economy and its high time our worth and what we do gets to be appreciated and understood by the nation.”
And what is she hoping to get out of The Cut? “I’m hoping to use the creativity that I am to highlight the vibrant energy of my people, to prove that we can make it in the cut throat world of design.
"I want to make them proud when I win the show and create wealth within this industry and end exploitation of our artists. My win is for the whole nation and I will finally become the voice and ambassador of hope.”
