Bio

Jazz Raycole is an American actress and dancer best known for her recurring roles in the television series My Wife And Kids and Jericho.

She started dancing at the age of 22 months at her mother's privately-owned dance studio and, by the time she was three years old, Jazz was performing 14 numbers at her recitals each year.

By four years of age Jazz was involved in dance competitions, and for three years held the State Championship title at State Competition in tap, jazz, ballet and ethnic dances.

She has since trained with many top choreographers and was handpicked by one of N'Sync's choreographers to be a member of LA Images dance troupe. She is currently dancing under the supervision of multi-talented choreographer Debbie Allen.

When Jazz wanted to add acting to her show business resume, her mother closed the Stockton, California-based dance studio. With her parents' guidance and support, Jazz began going to auditions in Los Angeles.

After going to an open call attended by agents and managers, Jazz was chosen by five agents and three managers for representation.

Within the next six months, she booked her first major movie, Waiting to Exhale, as well as a national commercial.

Some of her television credits include Malcolm & Eddie, The Jamie Fox Show, Smart Guy, 'Parenthood and Ellen. Other movie credits include Booty Call and Babe.

Jazz lives with her parents in the Los Angeles area. Her only brother attends Harvard University in Boston, Massachusetts.

Her favourite school subject is mathematics and she also likes shopping, sleepovers, riding her bike and scooter, talking on the phone and cooking. She is very religious and prays every day.

Jazz's final career goal is to attend Stanford University and become a pediatric physician. But before that she dreams of walking down the red carpet and dancing on stage with Janet and Michael Jackson.
