Marla Gibbs is an American actress best known for her role as Isabel Sanford and Sherman Hemsley's sarcastic maid, Florence Johnston, on The Jeffersons (1975-1985) and its short-lived spinoff, Checking In.

She is also noted for her starring role as Mary Jenkins on the sitcom 227, from 1985-1990.
