Lindie van Eeden is a South African actress best known for her role as Karin Schoeman Edwards on the M-Net soap opera Egoli: Place Of Gold.
She was born on 16 March in Oudtshoorn, but grew up in Mosselbay and matriculated in Port Elizabeth in 1996 (Hoërskool Framesby).
In January 1997 she started her acting career as the Okahandja farm-girl, Karin, in Egoli. A dream come true!
She sees herself as focused, positive, motivated and enthusiastic. She loves life and believes in unity and having a strong support system.
She enjoys being creative and she loves a challenge. She has a soft spot for John Travolta's dimples, her Dad's 'braaivleis', a bunch of red roses and chocolate.
Van Eeden has been married to Johann Strydom since 12 January 2002. The couple have a son, Paul Strydom, born on 19 April 2005.
