Bio

Siyabonga Ngwekazi is a South African television presenter and writer best known for hosting the pop culture magazine show Street Journal, on SABC1.

He replaced Trevor Noah as the male host of the celebrity gossip show The Real Goboza for its second season, which premiered on SABC1 on Wednesday 16 July, 2008.

In November 2007 he co-hosted the 8th Annual Metro FM Music Awards, with Penny Lebyane.

Siya began co-hosting (with Nonhle Thema) the daily live entertainment news show V Entertainment on DStv's Vuzu channel on Wednesday 1 July, 2009.

He was a Digital Host for the 16th Annual South African Music Awards (SAMAs), which were held in Sun City on Saturday 17 April, 2010.

In May 2011 he began hosting the lifestyle docu-reality series Top Shayela, on Vuzu. He was replaced by Thomas Gumede for Season 2.

In 2012 he produced and starred in the Vuzu reality series Forever Young, which follows him and fellow actors Lungile Radu and Thomas Gumede as they "follow their hearts and live in the moment in pursuit of their dreams".
