Bio

Tshegofatso Seakgoe is a South African model and actress best known for her role as Mosetsana in the Mzansi Magic telenovela The Throne. It was her first starring role in television.

Born in Meadowlands, Gauteng, Tshego debuted in the entertainment industry at the age of eight, singing on stage with Nelson Mandela for his 80th birthday. From there she went on to feature as a dancer on children's programmes such as Galubie, YOTV and KTV.

She worked as a presenter for the Pick 'n Pay Road Show, which led to MC jobs for Edgars Beats, Bubbly & Bargains, LEGiT fashion store / ambassador launches and the Baywatch Movie premiere.

In 2013 she made her screen acting debut playing a bride in an episode of the David Kau comedy series Taxi Ride, a continuation of his 2012 feature film of the same name.

A few months later she was a guest on the e.tv celebrity beauty talk show Glambition, created, hosted and produced by Jo-Ann Strauss. She appeared in Season 1, Episode 4, which aired on 29 April, 2013.

Tshego landed her first significant role in 2016: the recurring part of Glory, the girlfriend of Rambo (played by Batsile Ramasodi), on the first season of the Ferguson Films telenovela The Queen. She made her first appearance in the role in the series premiere, on 1 August, 2016.

Her next recurring role started three months later when she was cast as Felleng in the SABC2 telenovela Keeping Score, making her first appearance in Season 1, Episode 8 (which aired on 14 November, 2016).

The following year she bagged yet another recurring role, as Zimkhitha on the e.tv telenovela Broken Vows. She made her first appearance in the show on 19 June, 2017 (Season 1, Episode 51).

In the same year Tshegofatso guest starred as Abiola in the EbonyLife TV drama Fifty: The Series, a Nigerian show which captures a few pivotal days in the lives of four Nigerian women at the pinnacle of their careers.

2018 brought her first starring role in television when she was cast as the younger Kwena sister, Mosetsana - who seeks a life of independence and self-fulfilment - in the Mzansi Magic telenovela The Throne. The series debuted on Monday 30 July, 2018.
