Bio

Taylour Paige is an American dancer and actress best known for her starring role as Ahsha Hayes, who has her work cut out for her as she navigates the cutthroat path of a real live Devil Girl, in the VH1 drama series Hit the Floor.

Paige was born in Santa Monica and grew up in the Inglewood neighbourhood of Los Angeles with her older brother Travis. At a young age Taylour told her mom she was going to be a "moving" star and would put on short plays and dance routines in the living room.

She was a tomboy, the only girl on her YMCA basketball team wanting to be everything her big brother was. She'd go from basketball to ballet, volleyball to Hip Hop class, anything to keep active.

Taylour has been dancing since the age of two. She started training at Katnap in Venice, Westside Ballet Academy and later spent two consecutive summers at the Kirov Ballet Academy in Washington DC.

In 2001, Taylour became a student of celebrity choreographer Debbie Allen, where she learned professional training in all dance genres and in musical theatre. That same year, Taylour auditioned for Debbie Allen's Pearl an adaptation of Snow White and went on to be featured in every musical presented by the troupe from 2001-2009.

Ms. Allen made it imperative for everyone know everything, from acting, dancing, to singing. In a rehearsal for Debbie Allen's Alex In Wonderland, Allen invited successful television producer, Stan Rogow. He singled out Taylour and helped her launch the start of her acting career.

That year, her final year of high school at St. Bernard's, she flew to Utah to audition for Disney's, High School Musical 3. Taylour booked as a featured dancer in the I Want It All number. Rogow then introduced Taylour to TJ Stein, who then became her manager.

Taylour became a Laker Girl in 2010, and spent three months with the squad until her obligations to her acting career forced her to concentrate on her true goals.

That kicked off a golden year. She followed that with spots for Transamerica, Best Buy, and Mcdonald's commercials, Adidas print ad, Just Dance 3 interstitial, topping it all off as featured Cheerio on Glee's Christmas special.

Taylour continues to work and train with Debbie Allen, and has a degree from Loyola Marymount.
