Roger Allam is an English actor known primarily for his stage career, most notably the role of Inspector Javert in the original London production of the stage musical Les Misérables.
He is known to television audiences for roles in numerous series including The Creatives, Ashes to Ashes, The Jury II, Parade's End, The Thick of It, The Politician's Husband and Endeavour.
