Bio

Antoinette Louw is a South African actress best known for her role as Inge van Schalkwyk, the owner of the boutique, on the SABC2 soap opera 7de Laan, since 2004.

Born in Pretoria and raised in Potchefstroom, Vanderbijlpark and Bloemfontein, Louw is the daughter of Professor Dap Louw and Professor Anet Louw. She has one brother, Dappie, who is a year younger than her. He is a doctor.

Louw attended primary school (and some high school) in the United States of America, but matriculated from Sentraal Hoërskool in Bloemfontein.

She studied drama at the University of the Orange Free State and film acting at AFDA.

Aside from being one of the regular cast on 7de Laan, Louw has also played the roles of Candy on Die Netwerk and Denise on Jacob's Cross.

She says the highlight of her career thus far is when she was awarded the M-Net prize for Best Film Actress.
