Bio
DuPreez Strauss is a South African music director, producer, artistic consultant, composer, lyricist, writer, casting director, actor and conductor best known for starring in the Top One reality television series SugaRushed, since 2012.
Having studied at the Juilliard School of Music in New York City, Strauss has performed for the likes of an Oprah Winfrey, Celine Dion, Elton John, Clint Eastwood and Nelson Mandela.
DuPreez has lived and worked on four continents where he has conducted Disney's Lion King in three countries, working alongside Oscar winning director Julie Taymor, Grammy winner Lebo M and Tony winner Garth Fagan.
He has appeared as an actor in the television soapies Scandal! and Villa Rosa and the drama series Intersexions, directed by Emmy Award nominee John Trengove.
He is also a producer partner in SugaRushed Records, where he plans to find and groom the finest talent he can find in the country.
