Joan Chen is a Chinese-born American actress, director, screenwriter and producer best known for her role in the 1987 Academy Award-winning film The Last Emperor and for her starring role as Jocelyn Packard ni the supernatural mystery thriller television series Twin Peaks, from 1990-1991.
