Bio

Jesse Lee Soffer is an American actor best known for his role as Will Munson on the television soap opera As the World Turns, from 2004-2010.

He also starred as Nate Devlin, Grace's brother who owed a debt to the Mob and now works in Constantine's crew, in the medical crime drama television series The Mob Doctor, from 2012-2013.

Soffer's acting career began at the early age of six when he landed a Kix cereal commercial. At age eight, he made his feature film debut opposite John Goodman and Cathy Moriarty in Matinee.

Soon after, he was cast as Susan Sarandon and Sam Shephard's son in the family drama Safe Passage, as well as the iconic character Bobby Brady in both The Brady Bunch Movie and A Very Brady Sequel.

Soffer starred as runaway-turned-sleuth Jamie Kincaid in the made-for-television movie From the Mixed-Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler, in which he appeared with the legendary Lauren Bacall. Additionally, he worked with acclaimed director Richard Shepard in the cable movie The Royale.

In 1998, Soffer was cast as a series regular on Two of a Kind, starring Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen. When the series ended, Soffer returned to the East Coast and immediately took on the role of Max Nickerson on Guiding Light.

After only four months on the show, Soffer decided to focus solely on his studies and put himself through The Gunnery boarding school in Connecticut. Upon graduation, he realised that he still yearned to act and, once again, began to actively pursue a career in front of the camera.

Within months, Soffer landed a major contract role on the daytime drama As the World Turns. His portrayal of troubled youth Will Munson, earned him three consecutive Daytime Emmy nominations for Outstanding Younger Actor in a Drama Series in 2006, 2007 and 2008, as well as a Soap Opera Digest Award nomination for Outstanding Younger Lead Actor in 2005.

Soffer made his return to the big screen in Davis Guggenheim's independent feature film Gracie, playing the son of Elizabeth Shue and Dermot Mulroney. In the film, Soffer was able to combine his real-life passion for soccer as a star high school player and older brother to the title character.

Soffer has also landed roles in the feature film In Time, starring Justin Timberlake, as well as guest roles on the TV series CSI: Miami, The Mentalist and Rizzoli & Isles.

From Ossining, NY, Soffer currently lives in Chicago.
