Marie Wilson is a Greek-born Canadian actress and singer best known for her soap opera roles as Karen Wexler on Port Charles (1999-2003) and as Meg Snyder on As the World Turns, from 2005-2010.
Wilson's other television acting credits include appearances on Boston Legal, And the Beat Goes On: The Sonny and Cher Story, Destiny, and Baywatch. Wilson also appeared in numerous theatre productions and films, including a role in the film Guarding Eddy.
Born in Greece and raised in Toronto, Wilson danced ballet, tap, and jazz for ten years. Upon graduating high school, she started modeling at the age of 17.
Wilson met her husband Michael during a casting call and they married on December 31, 1996. They have one daughter, Skye Alexandra (born 2001).
A committed animal and environment supporter, Wilson resides with her family, her shepherd collie mix, Sierra, and her cat, Tyler, in Calabasas, California.
