Charmaine Mtinta is a South African actress best known for her starring role as Nomsa in the first season of the SABC1 drama series Yizo Yizo, in 1999. She won the Avanti Award for Best Actress in a Drama Series for this role.

She also starred as Pearl, Lebo's (Mahlubi Kraai) uncle's gold digging widow, in the SABC1 sitcom Gauteng Maboneng, in 2011; and as Aunt Lizzie in the Mzansi Magic telenovela Inkaba, from 2012-2013.

Mtinta has also acted in the SABC1 soapie Generations and Missing Link, also on SABC1.

In 2021 she had a recurring role as Zungazi in the 1Magic soapie The River, first appearing in an episode named after her character ("Zungazi") which aired on 21 April (Season 4, Episode 53).
