Bio

JR is a South African rapper and hip hop artist best known for his track Show Dem (Make The Circle Bigger). In 2011 he won the third season of the reality competition Tropika Island of Treasure: Thailand.

In 2016 his choir won the third season of the Mzansi Magic reality competition series Clash of the Choirs South Africa.

In 2019 he replaced the late Linda "Pro Kid" Mkhize as one of the judges on the SABC1 reality competition series One Mic.

JR was born and raised in Tshwane.
