Daniyah Ysrayl (previously credited as Daniel J. Gordon) is a Canadian actor best known for his starring role as Dre in the television sitcom 'Da Kink in My Hair, in 2009.
He replaced Conroy Stewart in the role of Dre, the teenage boy from Jamaica trying to fit into Canadian adolescent culture, while being bombarded with advice from his mother Letty and aunt Joy.
He is also known for his role as Rick Thompson, a boy who was harnessed by the Skitters, in the science fiction television series Falling Skies, since 2011.
Gordon's credits include The Weight, Mr. Magoriums Wonder Emporium, Jump In and Nurse Fighter Boy which premiered at the 2008 Toronto International Film Festival.
Daniel is also no stranger to the stage with theatre credits including Our Town, Holes and Pier.
