Bella Thorne is an American child actress and model best known for her starring role as CeCe Jones in the Disney Channel sitcom Shake It Up!, since 2010.
Previous television roles include Margaux Darling in Dirty Sexy Money (2007-2008) and Ruthy Spivey in My Own Worst Enemy, in 2008.
Thorne's past television credits also include guest-starring roles on October Road and The O.C., for which she was nominated for a 2008 Young Actor's Award.
Her independent feature credits include a lead in Ice Scream Man opposite Crispin Glover, Fred Ward and Judd Nelson, a supporting role in Taxidermist opposite Will Estes, Forget Me Not opposite Carly Schroeder and Cody Linley, and One Wish.
Thorne was born in Florida and has three other siblings: Remy, Dani and Kaili Thorne. At the tender age of six weeks old, Bella shot her first pictorial for Parents Magazine. She has continued to grace the covers of many national and international magazine and catalogue covers since.
She has appeared in numerous commercials and was the spokesperson for Texas Instruments for two years. She relocated to California and has begun pursuing her dream of an acting career.
Besides acting, Bella loves to hike, swim, snorkel, dance and paint. She loves her wolf cub, Vodoo, and her cocker spaniel, Pyro. She also has several cats.
Bella loves the Nomad organisation which helps provide education, food and medical supplies to impoverished children in Africa. She currently sponsors a child named Lydia Kanini Kiio in Kibwezi, Kenya.
