Welcome to TVSA, television-lovers.

You've just landed on the hottest TV website in the southern hemisphere - a brand new, monster resource for anyone who takes their television viewing as seriously as we do.

South Africans have never had one all-encompassing TV-related website. All the broadcasters and channels have websites but up until now there hasn't been one single TV resource covering ALL channels and shows.

TVSA was developed to serve this need, and from these humble beginnings the beast shall grow.

Whether you're a hardcore couch potato, an occasional sport watcher or a researcher looking for television-related information, TVSA has something for everyone.

You can read articles, interviews and Celeb Q&A's by our writers and bloggers, sign up for a blog and become a published TV columnist yourself, rate shows and actors, find show/actor information, catch all the latest TV News (spoiler-free for South Africans!), review shows, chat about anything to do with TV on the TVSA Forums, take any of our TV quizzes and win fantastic prizes.

That's just for starters. In the coming weeks we will be introducing full weekly TV schedules which will be the most accurate, up-to-date schedules available anywhere in print or online, as well as a TVSA Shop selling all your favourite shows on DVD.

We would encourage you to register as both a TVSA Member and a Forum Member in order to give yourself full access to all areas of the site. Registration in both instances is quick and simple and automatically enters you into two fantastic competitions, for a 74cm Telefunken television and a 3-DVD copy of smash hit sci-fi series Battlestar Galactica (2004).

Click the competition banner in the right hand side of the site to find out more, including what benefits you gain from registering on either the main site or the forums.

You can also read the About page for more information about the site, why it was developed and what we envision for it in the future.

We would like to thank our wonderful team of Moderators and Administrators who worked tirelessly to bring this site together by writing show summaries for well over 500 shows, adding more than 3500 actors to our database, building the forums and populating them with dozens of threads, devising the fantastic TV quizzes and giving their time, energy and devotion to helping build TVSA.

We trust that you will enjoy using TVSA and that you will find it a useful, entertaining and engaging TV resource.
