Yay, eventually! Lesego Marakalla returns as Rachel Kunutu.

It's been too long. We've always known she would return because she had to.

Skeem Saam's iconic troublemaker and slay queen makes her comeback on Tuesday 10 June as the show winds up Season 13 in the build-up to the Season 14 premiere on Monday 30 June 2025.

Rachel was last seen in June 2020 after she disappeared.

Where has she been all this time?

The show tells us that we're going to discover that she's been mixing with the wrong company who've been pressuring her to associate with the likes of "Lord of the Flies" and "Ghost", a shady new character played by Tshepo Howza Mosese...

From the onset we're going to become aware of his troublesome and dangerous nature. His shenanigans with Rachel will be revealed from 16 June.

Also returning - on 13 June: Marothi Maphuthuma, Turf Talent Extravaganza founder, printing company entrepreneur and Rachel's estranged husband.

He's reprised by Macks Senatla SaGa Papo, who was previously known as Macks Papo.

Flashback to the past: Rachel left Marothi suddenly - she stole a substantial amount of his wealth and then framed him for her “death”.

But now that his "Dynamite" as he so passionately used to call her, has returned, what actions he will take?

Will there be revenge or reconciliation?

But wait, that's not all.

A crime heavyweight who we haven't seen in a long time also makes a comeback - in the season finale.

Guess who?

A quote from Lesego:

Lesego: “It feels good to be back. It's not only about me but it is also about my supporters who appreciate my craft. They've been asking me when I will be returning to #SkeemSaam and I'm happy to say that they will be seeing me back on screen playing Rachel very soon.”
