Skeem Saam's iconic Rachel Kunutu will be a character from the past by next week Monday.
Lesego Marakalla, who's played Rachel since the start of the series, has left the show to study full-time.
And may or may not act again in the future.
As you probs know, Rachel's been missing for the past few weeks. The conclusion to her story will play out this Friday night (19 June) when her last episode airs.
This from Lesego about her departure:
Lesego: I will miss my Skeem Saam family dearly. I have been with the show for eight years and I have created some good friendships and memories!
To all my fans, I really appreciate the love and support that you have given me since day one.
Will she ever return to acting? Word from Skeem Saam is that she isn't sure.
