Texas Metal 2

This series rides into the heart of Texas to bring car fans inside the clever custom creations of mastermind Bill Carlton and his team.

As the owner and innovator behind Houston's Ekstensive Metal Works, Carlton pushes his team to build the best one-off cars and trucks for people from around the country.

Texas Metal follows their work as they make the ordinary extraordinary using everything from rusted out wrecks to top of the line vehicles including a 1955 Chevy Truck, a 2014 Porsche 911, a 1967 Lincoln Continental, a 1966 Chevrolet C10 and more.

Bill Carlton is a third-generation welder.

His father purchased the property where Extensive Metals Works now sits 40 years ago and it's where Bill grew up building cars including his first out of a small shop on the property.

Now in that same spot in north Houston, Ekstensive cranks out wild, top-notch customisations that are the envy of car lovers everywhere.

In the Season 2 premiere, "Denali Drop": A client wants Bill to set the bar for custom SUVs with a 2018 Yukon Denali.

The guys get busy with handmade chassis, body mods, interior and twin turbos.

Ekstensive goes full gangster with a 1948 Mercury, remaking this legendary car from the inside out.

Home Town 8

Erin and Ben Napier love their small Mississippi hometown, especially the old historical houses.

Using found materials and old textiles, they're keeping the character of these classic homes but giving them modern and affordable updates.

From Erin's imaginative hand sketches to Ben's custom handiwork, this couple is bringing homes back to life and making sure their small town's future is as bright as its past.

In the Season 8 premiere, "Sisters Know Best": A young woman looks to buy her first home in Laurel where she and her six sisters grew up, and she wants a place where they can all gather for wine nights.

Ben and Erin help her turn a bland house into a modern, moody retreat made for entertaining.
