Star Life's new series Titli premieres on Friday 29 March at 21h30, replacing
Destined By Fate which ends on Thursday.
In the series, Titli grew up as a lively girl despite losing her parents as a child, leaving her to be raised by her paternal uncle and aunt.
She attends her friend's wedding where she meets her school friend Rahul who later proposes marriage, which Titli accepts.
However, on the wedding day, Titli finds out that he is already married and is only marrying her for a child.
She refuses to marry him and runs away to a cliff to cry out to God, where she meets Garv, a slick attorney, for the first time.
The next day, Garv hires Titli as a decorator for his sister Monika's wedding.
During the course of the wedding, Garv begins to catch feelings for Titli and eventually falls for her by the end of wedding.
Garv confesses his feelings in front of their family and after much hustle, both families accept them and they get married.
However, he becomes overly possessive after they marry, becoming an abusive, toxic husband in this series which highlights issues of domestic violence, abusive behaviour, mental health issues and anger management.
The role of Titli is played by newcomer Neha Solanki.

Ramesh and Baa criticise Titli after Rahul and his mother leave the house. However, after the reception party, Titli and Rahul engage in a deep conversation.
