Big Brother Titans: smiles are shattered, replaced by daggers

Talk about looking miserable. These "Titans" clearly don't realise that they're on the show to entertain us and not to send us into the depths of doom.

They don't even have to suffer loadshedding and yet there wasn't a glimmer of joy or razzmatazz amongst them in Sunday's first live eviction show. Even when they heard the final results at the end, they didn't smile, they grimaced.

For the rest of the time everyone just sat there looking as if they were having the worst experience of their lives, which you would feel too if you were surrounded by the competitive dagger looks, side eyes and dissings many of them of were giving each other.

Not even Mr Smiley Lukay managed to flash a happy tooth behind his sunglasses at night.

The idea of getting eliminated can be nerve wracking but you can't make it all about that when you're on a show to connect with audiences who you need.

It was as if we weren't even there last night. They were alienated from each other and ignored us completely while they waited to hear the results of the non-nomination which resulted in no-one going home.

This is a key reason why we never take reality shows too seriously because it's not psychologically healthy for anyone to get too serious about them.

If you do, you end up being Yvonne who looked so ruthless she sent host Ebuka into a twitch when she said she isn't there to make friends. It was spine-chilling, as if she could scratch people's eyes out.

As for the surrounding events... whoever dresses Lawrence clearly wants to scratch our eyes too. Why won't they give him pants that fit?! Season after season we become fixated on his ankles and it's enough already.

They also need to stop reading Twitter comments in the show because they aren't fresh or impactful. They scroll on 198 continuously so we can see them there and we don't actually know who's saying what because we can't see the commentators' faces.

It would be much better if they did vox pop interviews with people in the real world instead.

If they interviewed you, what would you say about who?

Yvonne thinks she has won with her stinking attitude.
