Coming up on The Estate on Friday 9 December:
Former Rhythm City and DiepCity star Mduduzi Mabaso, in the role of Noxolo's brother Khulekani Nzimande.
Mduduzi, who's played Mgedeza on DiepCity for both seasons, has seamlessly gone from one starring role to another since his critically acclaimed 14-year portrayal of Suffocate on RC.
DiepCity's ending in March next year so he isn't leaving DiepCity for The Estate but rather pivoting to this new role.
Khulekani is described as a dominant and fearless traditionally inclined but global man. He's passionate and assertive and cares about his family and sister.
We first meet him when he breaks into Castro's office. His arrival in town makes Melisizwe and Noxolo suspicious, but he plays his cards close to his chest so they don't know what he's up to.
He decides to move into the Nobengela home and it makes everyone tense and nervous. Melisizwe cautions GK that they have a spy in their midst.
Melisizwe knows Khulekani because they used to run a consultancy company together but they had a falling out when Khulekani chose to support Nora instead of betraying her as Melisizwe did.
Also important to know: sparks are going to fly between Khulekani and Lwandle.
