Special notes

Yoh! 

Serial nosedivers Idols and Muvhango have plunged again, by 81,758 and 140,730 viewers respectively, between July and August.

Idols went from 743,516 viewers in July to 661,758 for its highest episode in August.

Also, see how the viewership dropped by even more for the first live show on 28 August, by another 172,150 viewers! 

This is a whopping 220,047 viewers less than the viewership for the first live show that appeared in the ratings for Season 17. 

The first live show that appeared was on 19 September 2021, with a viewership of 709,655 viewers.

Audience share for live shows has dropped from 8.4 to 5.7.

Imbewu claws back

See how Imbewu reached 3-million viewers for the first time since it was pushed into 21h00 in April ths year.

Charting

Shows on the move: 

- > The Real Housewives of Cape Town, which could outperform Idols soon with its 618,994 viewers for its most watched episode.

- > SABC1's docu-reality Fooled by Love, which attracted an impressive 2,120,009 viewers for 18h00 in its second week on air.

- > Is'phindiselo, which attracted its highest viewership of 1,981,088 since its premiere in April.
