R = Repeat
O = Omnibus

Special notes

The Estate moves into SABC1

The reload of The Estate on SABC1 in September attracted 2,401,695 viewers for its most watched episode and the primetime broadcast of the show disappeared from S3's Top 20 list.

The Saturday omnibus and a repeat on Thursday 30 September remained in the Top 20 but the 19h00 primetime edition is nowhere to be seen. It's been in S3's Top 20 since June 2021.

It was in 16th position on S3 with 300,738 viewers in August before it restarted on SABC1, suggesting that some S3 viewers are choosing to watch the primetime broadcast on SABC1 instead.

Because of the limitations of these lists we can't see what its September S3 viewership was. All we can conclude is that it was less than 291,793 viewers, the ratings for the last show on the list.

The SABC1 broadcast attracted 149,869 more viewers than uBettina Wethu when it was last seen on the channel's Top 20 list in the same 19h30 timeslot in June 2021.

Nominee announcement only

The viewership figures listed in the SABC1 ratings for the 2021 Royalty Soapie Awards was for the nominee announcement. The ceremony only aired on Saturday 2 October so will be in the October ratings.
